It all comes back to the ability of the home nurse. We are the key to the healing progress of the patient, and if we don't make sure that we give them the right medicine and amount, then we're risking the life of the patient in hand.
Medicines are nothing if we don't know how to administer them. The importance of knowing how to administer them to the patient is just as important as the medicine. Giving it to the patient incorrectly might prove to be a danger. This might bring upon more unnecessary sicknesses. Additional defects are things that are risky when it comes to the patient's chance of healing. Administering thing properly will do wonders. It might speed up the healing process, and make sure that the patient is healthy and well.
Not a lot knows how to administer medicines correctly, and considering there are a variety of medicines, it's kind of nice how our school gives the time to teach us the basics. These teachings, if ever, might just come to save a life. We may never know. The importance of administering medicines is simple. It helps in reducing the pain of the patient. And doing it correctly helps much better.
"Why do you think health care to the individual, to the family and to the community is important?"
This question was asked by our teacher in our class. And since this is my blog, I guess I'll be able to fully pose my opinion here. Health care is important to ensure that we'll have a healthy mind and body, both physical, mental and emotional. This is beneficial not only to one person, but to all the others around them. A healthy person means a happy outlook in life. Healthcare is also important since it makes us live longer, and be healthy while we're at it. To an individual, healthcare is important just mainly for the fact that it makes us livelier. It makes our whole being still intact. Once you're healthy, it's hard to be sad or depressed, so healthcare is also connected with our emotional capabilities. After all, a healthy body makes up a healthy mind. There really isn't anyone in this world who wants to be sickly, and so, health care makes it possible for us individuals to stay fit and proper. To sum it all up, health care is important because it makes us aware of our own sickness, and makes it possible to prevent it as early as possible. It also provides happiness to the community and the environment. Another is that it also ensures that one's mind and body is fit and healthy enough to pass the challenges that will be thrown their way.
We were asked to create something by group, and so we decided to go knitting! We made bracelets and pouches. And it was really done manually. We started with a piece of yarn and that was it. We set our hands into motion and made magic and created these things!
Our materials were just the common tools for knitting. The yarn and the needle-like thingy. We also got used laces and old headbands to make a new and cuter ones. It was a fun experience, to say the least. And seeing our outputs, I was really proud. They all looked pretty enough. It was a pain in the hand, though. Cramps. cramps and more cramps. It was kinda annoying. But the output was enough to lift my spirits.
If we were to sell it, I'd like to sell it for 15-25 pesos. Hey, it's hard work. I won't sell it cheap. 15-25 for the bracelets, 40 for the pouch and the headbands can go for 15 pesos. I really think people would like it because the designs are cute and creative! « Older
I'm not really creative, to be honest. Drawing, arts, scrap booking and decorating? Count me out. Unless it's interior design. I don't have a creative bone in my body, as it has all been passed on to my sister. But when my teacher said to make a pop-up card, I was like 'Dude, piece of cake.'
And well, you know how it goes.... Wait, you don't? Want to see the output so that you'll finally understand what actually happened?
It's horrible, even I can admit that.
Yes, I know. You probably went all 'shocked-animal' right now. I'm that bad with arts. I just can't even-- Don't trust me when it comes to making a craft. I'm horrible.
This, my people, is the shocked animal.
In all honesty though, I actually really liked the process of making the card, and what I loved the most was the pop-up effect! I'm so proud of the fact that I managed to do it in one try!
